Question

Both are made of hexagonal ice (Ih). But even though those two materials are perfectly identical in their microscopic molecular arrangements, you can clearly observe differences at the macroscopic scale.

Where do you think thoses differences come from ?

Formation route, indeed ice cubes are formed from liquid water, where snowflakes are made in the upper atmosphere from water vapor (really?).

Ice is Water frozen in the solid state.
